It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Janine Lalonde Paquette, who left us on May 2, 2025 at the age of 79, after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). She left this world as she lived it, surrounded by love.
Janine was a luminous person, always driven by a beautiful energy and a contagious zest for life. A passionate traveler, she traveled the world with curiosity and wonder. Surrounded by loyal friends, always up for an outing or an adventure, Janine wove a warm circle of sincere and joyful relationships over the years.
She is survived by her husband Michel, her daughters Isabelle (Hendrik), Sophie (Luc) and Marie‑France (Michael); her grandchildren Aurélia, Émilie, Alexia, Maxime, Liam, Louis, Luka and Clara; her sister Ghislaine; several nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and many friends.
A service to honour Janine’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Lakeshore Cardinal Funeral Home in Dorval, 560 Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, QC H9S2B3. Visitations will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life in the funeral home’s chapel at 2 p.m.
